Warning – Fraudulent employment offers

This warning is issued by CGI Group Inc. on its behalf and on behalf of its affiliated companies, (hereinafter referred to collectively as “CGI”).

CGI has been informed that fraudulent employment advertisements and offers using company names of CGI are being made by way of email or other means such as, but not limited to, Craigslist advertisements. Some of these fraudulent employment offers or advertisements instruct prospective candidates to provide personal information, including banking information and/or payment of money. Others make an offer of employment, which is then often followed by an email rescinding this offer.

Please note that such employment offers or advertisements are fraudulent and do not originate from CGI. Furthermore, CGI will never request payment of any monies in regard to its hiring process.

If you receive employment offers that request payment, you are advised to contact the local authorities. If you have paid monies, or disclosed confidential information to a third party, we recommend you inform your local police authorities. You are requested to validate the authenticity of such employment offers before taking any action. CGI disclaims any liability for the actions taken by you on the fraudulent employment advertisements and offers.

If you wish to inform us of any offer or advertisement or you are in any doubt as to whether any offer or advertisement is genuine, you may contact us at info@cgi.com. Please include an attachment of the e-mail or, if relevant, the Craigslist / employment offer site ad number. This information will be shared, in confidence, with CGI’s security team.

If you are interested in career opportunities with CGI, please note that CGI publishes employment opportunities through our online career application system.
