This is a great opportunity to join our CGI Services to Credit Union team in Burnaby, providing leading IT services to our clients. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to perform dual responsibilities as a Project Manager and Business Analyst. The successful candidate will have a strong delivery background in the Financial Services Sector.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager/Business Analyst, you would be responsible for the successful delivery to budget, time and customer satisfaction, enabling new and existing business.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Development of project proposals, project charters, and project management plans
Managing the time and effort of the project team
Ensuring proper change, scope, risk, and expectation management are applied
Reporting accurate project financial and profitability figures
Holding regular status meeting with team and clients and providing regular status reporting
Playing a lead role in the development of business requirements documentation
Prepare and present to senior client executives
Formally document findings and present proposed solutions to clients
Provide Business Analysis support in Agile projects
Write high level functional and non-functional requirements
Develop use case views and use cases
Facilitate requirements workshops with client and technical team members
Effectively interact with and communicate requirements to technical team members
Participate in defining and potentially executing some aspects of system testing
Assist in defining estimates

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Five years or more as a Project Manager or Business Analyst
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed written, verbal and presentation skills
Must be goal oriented, results driven and client focused
Strategic and operational business planning
Change management and communications
Undergraduate degree such as Business, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent

Desirable Skills:
Project Management training and certification
Certified Management Consulting (CMC)
Change Management training and certification
Business Analysis certification

A minimum of 5 years related IT experience
Superior interpersonal, leadership skills
Superior verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to perform successfully under limited supervision
Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
A passion towards corporate social responsibility
