This is a great opportunity to join CGI in Victoria, BC to provide leading information technology services to our clients in the healthcare sector. We are seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst with 5 years’ experience int this role, in IT or health care. The ideal candidate would be proficient at identifying and analyzing the business needs of our clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities

The Intermediate Business Analyst will participate in evaluating, making recommendations and implementing solutions as an active team member on our Health team.

Key responsibilities:
Create and maintain client relationships and support the team in new business opportunities
Play a key role in the development and collaboration of requirements gathering and documentation
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions individually as well as alongside clients
Assist in developing project plans for the related project tasks
Prepare and maintain formal project deliverables and present artifacts on a regular basis
Ensure Business Analysis tools, processes and techniques are current to industry standards

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

An Undergraduate degree in Health Information Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent

Strong interpersonal skills
Superior English verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities

Nice to Have:
Experience in enterprise architecture or IT strategy
Previous experience working with BC Health Authorities
Any of the following business analysis or IT certifications would be an asset (CBAP, AAC, TOGAF, ITIL)
