Position Description

Corporate role leading the development, management and maturity of an enterprise-wide business continuity approach and roadmap. This is a strategic role that will be responsible for collaborating with business units and other key corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment, operational standards, cost efficiency and effective preparedness.

Your future duties and responsibilities

•Leadership role in the development and maturity of an enterprise-wide business continuity approach and strategic roadmap
•Work collaboratively with business unit and other stakeholders to define global business continuity standards and an enterprise-wide certification strategy
•Conduct assessments to evaluate compliance to standards, adequacy of business continuity/crisis management planning and identify opportunities for improvement
•Support the ongoing maintenance and refinement of the enterprise continuity methodology, tools, and supporting artifacts
•Report to management exercise results and other key performance indicators
•Provide subject matter expertise to business units and, as needed, support the development of business continuity professional within the business
•Partners with procurement to conduct vendor business continuity risk assessments and recommend strategies for supply-chain risk management

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Minimum of 10 years Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management experience as applied in a business and technical environment with at least 3 years at a program management level
• Experience with IT and business consulting services, including data center environments preferred
• Relevant professional certification strongly preferred (e.g. ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, MBCI)
• Familiarity with ISO business continuity standards and experience with certification a plus
•Excellent analytical, oral/written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively collaborate and manage relationships with global partners and varying levels of management
•Strategic thinker capable of tackling complex problems and influencing risk-based decision-making
•Strong ability to work with minimum direction and possess a high drive for delivering timely, high-quality results
