This is a great opportunity to become a member of CGI's Victoria team, providing leading information technology services to our clients. We are seeking a Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years IT experience in government environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be charged with working on documenting business processes and service offering development assistance. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have responsibility for process coordination, process flows, use cases and other documentation. This contributor is expected to have had deep experience in application development and one or more of the core disciplines (use case elaboration, logical application design, BPM, SOA, Data Analysis), but is expected to be able to work across all of them as required.
Preference for deployment of CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent)
Documenting Business Processes
Creating Templates (if required)
Creating a “Status Dashboard" for client on-boarding status reporting
Service Offering Development assistance to Client Integration Manager
Supporting PIA/STRA (Privacy Impacts & Security)
Potentially: Quality Assurance (Testing) Coordination
Potentially: Release Management & Coordination
Interact with other business analysts to understand the requirements
Interact with architects and technical leads to convey system requirements
Interact with system testing team
Prepare high quality functional design documentation
Contribute to the advancement of enterprise capabilities in system analysis and design domains
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
University or College degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Strong qualifications as outlined in this posting will be considered in the absence of this educational requirement.
Minimum 5 years Systems Analysts/Design experience or combination of Analyst and Developer experience
Experience in development of CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
Experience in workflow systems
Advance knowledge of uses case and process modeling techniques
Well versed in non-functional requirements, such as performance, response time, operability and traceability
Experience with sizing and planning of new initiatives
Knowledge of database and data modeling
Excellent analytical/documentation skills
Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, Sharepoint and Microsoft Project
Highly developed competency in complex, large-scale development programs
Superior analysis and problem solving skills to proactively and quickly address and decompose complex issues into manageable pieces
Good technical skills to understand the potential and the limitations of information technology
Ability to analyze scope, requirements and issues, and define required work effort
Ability to take control of issues and manage them to resolution in a highly complex, multi-stakeholder environment
Strong time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within a highly demanding environment
Ability to multi-task, to effectively handle multiple demands and competing priorities
Ability to work in an ongoing changing environment
Strong team player, with ability to work both in teams and individually.
Ability to lead and mentor others
Excellent communication (written, oral and presentation) skills
Excellent interpersonal skills help systems analysts work with end users as well as with business analysts, developers and other systems professionals.
