Program Managers are responsible for driving the overall success of a collective group of projects that comprise a program. Program Managers are responsible for managing program portfolios that deliver strategic business objectives and value. This role is a significant position that involves working with customers and other stakeholders by developing and implementing solutions in a complex, highly dynamic environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Plan and schedule program-level activities and schedule of projects
Manages program-level scope, issues and risks, and quality management
Resolves resource conflicts
Negotiates timelines with key stakeholders
Provides status regarding program health to clients and key stakeholders
Ensures deliverables are produced according to defined schedule
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
SAFE Agilist and/or Project Management Certification ( preferred)
Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Excellent leadership and team development skills (including coaching and mentoring)
Timely, decisive, and effective problem-solving skills
Solid project management skills related to project planning and control; scope management; issue and risk management; and quality management
Project Management 5+ years ??? Advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint 3+ years ??? Intermediate
Minimum Education Required: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or directly related degree required
The hourly rate rage for this position is $65-70/hr*
