CGI is seeking candidates for a Full Stack Developer that knows how to implement enterprise applications in AWS to join our exceptional team in Baltimore. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Migrate existing legacy application to modern technologies in the cloud hosting environment
• Building integrations layer for a web application built in Go Lang.
• Develop SQL stored procedures
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to break through any engineering issues
• Utilize your strong knowledge of the flow of data to champion various implementation initiatives
• Put TDD/BDD and Scrum methodologies into play in order to smoothly deliver scalable products
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 3 to 5 years of Java or C++ development
• Exposure to cloud-based Linux environments – ideally AWS
• 2+ years of RESTful webservices development experience
• 3+ years of experience developing and tuning SQL stored procedures and queries
• A strong background with RESTful Services Architecture
• Experience with open source backend technologies Go Lang, RDBMS, NoSQL Database and RedShift • Agile methodology experience is a must
• Experience with event driven architecture is preferred.
• Experience with JIRA ALM tool or something similar.
• Experience with Github repositories and Git processes.
• Experience with AWS MQ, SNS, SQS and streams is preferred.
• Experience with MySQL and DynamoDB
