CGI is looking for a career driven Finance Professional who is ready to take on the responsibility of Senior Financial Analyst for US located in our CGI Denver, Colorado office. This position offers the opportunity for growth and career development for a talented and motivated individual. Qualified candidates will need to possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, good oral and written skills, attention to detail, and have a good understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and operational/financial accounting concepts. This role will work closely with other Finance members, Project Managers and senior members of CGI leadership. They will be actively encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge through professional development to allow for career progression within CGI.
Your future duties and responsibilities
FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties of the Senior Financial Analyst include day-to-day management of the finance and accounting department, month end close, and financial reporting including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. The role also include day to day partnership with the sector leadership team, advising them on all financial matters and helping them to grow and manage the business effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter with strong management skills. The ability to multitask while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met is a must. Additionally, this person must be strategic and assertive in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
This role requires an individual to have at least 5 years of solid progressive accounting and finance experience. Strong understanding of technical accounting coupled with project financial management is critical to the success of the Senior Financial Analyst. Candidates must possess solid analytical, organizational and time management skills. Must be adept at managing projects, prioritizing and knowing when (and how) to escalate issues. Above all, the successful candidate must be team focused, be willing to serve in multiple roles, and have a can-do attitude.
This individual must have a professional presence, outstanding work ethic, possess excellent technical skills and be able to demonstrate self-directed career achievement to date. Strong fundamental Accounting and Finance skills, as well as proven ability to provide creative solutions, initiate change and manage the effort to implement changes. Proven ability to interact with senior management at all levels and across all lines of business is essential.
