POSITION DESCRIPTION



The self-motivated person who fills this position will be joining and contributing to a dynamic and determined team that will be assisting a local Northern California public sector client to develop a large scale system. This initiative will have a lasting positive impact on enhancing the citizen experience.



The Application Developer will lead API development for a large cloud native public sector system and be responsible for API and microservice development. Familiarity with designing services for reliability and security is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE



Successful candidate must posses at least four (4) years of recent experience performing at least three (3) of the following tasks:



• Designing and building cloud environments focusing on uptime, access, control, and security;

• Assessing suitability of or need for an API or microservice;

• Developing automation and configuration management tools;

• Using secure (e.g., FedRAMP Moderate) cloud services (e.g., AWS tools) for data exchange or to compose an advanced data integration platform; or Implementation and testing of business rules using industry standard business rules repositories and engines.
