CGI is looking for a project manager to join our Team in Richmond, VA
Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsible for the successful performance of various projects and directs and supervises all support resources, project assignments and activities.
Manages project through the design, implementation and testing phases in accordance with project objectives.
The candidate is required to use program management tools to manage project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies.
The candidate produces status reports, conducts status meetings and facilitates issue resolution and risk management sessions
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (i.e. Microsoft Project)
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in an agile environment
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage, coordinate and guide a project team
- Strong issue resolution and risk management skills
- Experience with project management methodologies
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field
PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
Scrum Master certification desired
