Position Description

The ISR Analyst/Trainer (A/T) will support the preparation and execution of National Training Center (NTC) rotations, providing mentor support for members of the Operations Group and Rotational Training Unit (RTU) serving as the Higher Control (HICON) Division Collection Manager (CM) for the Operations Group G2 Exercise Control Cell/Analysis and Control Element (ACE).

Perform as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing astute analysis, precision allocation of collection resources, and concise coordination for Division (DIV) collection assets that are Echelons above Brigade (EAB), Echelons above DIV (EAD), Corps, Theater, and coordination with National.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Work with Operations Group Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) LTC/COL and augment Operations Group staff during exercise planning and event execution. Able to coach, mentor, and assist the RTU (from E-1 to O-4) on Information Collection (IC) planning and support to the execution of IC operations (live, notional, and constructed). Able to brief a medium to large size audience and facilitate small group discussions.

Coordinate and provide assistance to Observer, Coach/Trainers (OC/T), Training and Feedback Facility (TAFF), Simulations, Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT), RTU, and Liaison Officers (LNO) to the DIV Tactical Operations Center (TOC) in field (desert) and classroom environments.

Receive, review, process, and track Requests for Collection (RFC) to the HICON DIV CM. Conduct analysis and feasibility plots from RFCs to support collection asset allocation. Collaborate with airspace managers (live and simulated) for allocation of airborne IC aircraft. Coordinate with live airborne collection systems supporting rotations. Develop a DIV IC plan allocating EAB, EAD, Corps, and Theater level assets that align collection capabilities to asset to satisfy collection requirements able to support the close and deep area.

Research, resource, and reference Army/JOINT Doctrine, publications, Universal JOINT Tasks/Army Tasks, Army/JOINT collection systems/sensors, Enemy Opposition Force (OPFOR) weapon/reconnaissance systems. Able to advocate on the use of viable collection strategies and complimentary cueing capabilities.

Prepare qualitative, professional, fact based documents in the form of Observations, Discussion, and Recommendations (ODR). The ODR provides your observations as a SME and supports training and task execution feedback; sourcing authoritative/doctrinal references, and the use of quantitative analytical data.

Effectively resource doctrine/TTPs in order to create training material/ products in support of Operations Group and the RTU, manage Share Point, create/work Excel/Word/Power Point (data entry/analytics), develop training Smart Cards, graphical instructional products, write Annex B/L, develop “Battle Drills", and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
ISR A/T may also support TRADOC G-2 ISRI-I and the Home Station Training (HST) line of effort with the ISR 303 course (3 day training event) presented to deploying or rotational Army organization on military installations CONUS and OCONUS.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

**Education:

Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of related experience or Associates Degree with 15 years of related experience.

**Experience:

• Military intelligence professional, ideally a recently separated US Army senior-level Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO), Warrant Officer or mid-level Commissioned Officer with 5 years of IC or JOINT ISR experience
• Experience as an S2, AS2, S2 CUOPS, IC planner, S2 FUOPs planner, or BISE Chief at a BCT
• Collection management experience at a BCT/DIV
• Recent OIF/OEF/OIR experience as a BCT/DIV CM
• Military Instructor or equivalent
• Rotational experience as an OC/T at a Combat Training Center (CTC) highly preferred
• Understand IC/JOINT ISR capabilities and its integration to support a Modular Force and the transition to Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE).
• Understand IC, Targeting, JOINT Fires, and ADAM/BAE relationships
• Able to employ and operate an OSRVT, DCGS-A, MS Office suite of software, and Share Point
**Security Clearance:

Must have a SECRET security clearance and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

**Conditions of Employment:

• Due to government contract and/or security clearance requirements, US Citizenship is required
• Must have a valid passport (or ability to obtain)

**Working Conditions:

• Will be wearing helmet and carrying a light rucksack while in field environment
• When not in field environment, will be working in office environment
• Able to operate a 4x4 vehicle (or equivalent) in an austere environment
