Come join CGI and be part of a large program within a strategic DHS Component. CGI is looking for a Junior to Expert-level Master Scheduler with 0-8+ years of applicable experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) to join our team. Qualified candidates will need to serve as the CGI Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) PMO Analyst delivering capabilities and services for a major program supplying leadership and guidance to all contract personnel participating in the program. The candidate will lead and assist in the creation and maintenance of integrated master schedules according to the TOR and integrate Request For Services (RFS) requirements, where applicable, by collaborating with RFS response teams and operations teams supporting the large program within a strategic DHS Component. The successful candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of project management and project planning and excels in de-conflicting of plans to integrate operations and delivery of technology and or solutions including interacting with clients. The successful candidate is a self-starter who works effectively leading the maintenance of an integrated schedule in a highly dynamic environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities

1. Works closely with Managers, PMO Analysts, team leads and partners
2. Comprehends project requirements and demonstrates the ability to incorporate these requirements into the master schedule for all tasks, portfolios, and project-related activities
3. Review schedule activities, status and results with PM, DPM and Managers as required
4. Create and update resource loaded schedules
5. Implement baseline changes into the IMS by collaborating with applicable stakeholders
6. Apply recognized industry best scheduling practices to develop and maintain program schedules
7. Produce product/deliverable based WBS and WBS Dictionary per project TOR and agency specific guidelines
8. Identify, develop and implement processes improving scheduling and coordination efforts

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance/investigation to start employment.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• 0-8 years of experience in creating and managing resource loaded schedules, Gantt charts and dependencies
• Knowledge and experience in schedule quality analysis
• Ability to perform critical path analysis of schedules within MS Project or other tools
• Ability to develop fully networked schedules using predecessors and successors along with effective activity duration affording discreet progress measurement
• Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels and demonstrate ability to diplomatically and effectively deal with government officials and program office stakeholders
• Ability to create custom views in MS Project, and an understanding of the relationships among WBS/IMS/PWS/CLIN in Federal contracting
• Outstanding reporting skills, e.g. graphical presentation, advanced Microsoft Excel skills (charts, pivot tables)
• Advanced MS Project skills (knowledge of macros)
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail coupled with effective analytical and problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to balance and prioritize many diverse tasks at once
• Experience in establishing new processes
• Experience working on integrating SDLC review gates into an IMS supporting project lifecycle implementation teams
• Self-motivator with ability to work as part of a team or independently with little supervision or direction
• Scheduling experience with a strong project management background understanding project management processes
