This role can be based from any of the following offices: Bridgend, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Leatherhead, Manchester, Reading.
The nature of the role will mean that travel will be required to other office locations as well as client offices around the UK.
It is further likely that the role will require candidates to already hold, or be eligible and willing to hold, UK Security Clearance to SC level. Higher clearance levels would be a benefit.
Your future duties and responsibilities
As an ITSM Consultant you’d be joining a newly formed Service Advisory Practice supporting a wide variety of clients with service solutions throughout the service management lifecycle – from developing a strategy, delivering process overviews and training to designing solutions, delivering tangible business outcomes and continual service improvement initiatives. We draw on practical experience from CGI’s delivery to a broad client base and use real world examples and operational subject matter experts to underpin our messages and recommendations.
Our ITSM consultants will drive the development and extension of the Service Advisory Practice and will be keen advocates in domains such as SIAM, Verism, Agile / DevOps, SACM, Service Management Tooling (Remedy, ServiceNow), modern hybrid cloud services and RPA.
Your duties will also entail on-going development of Advisory offerings, identifying business development opportunities, assessing client issues and presenting key challenges. Further responsibilities include providing input into consultancy bids – proposal writing, solution design, costing – process design, workflow simulation and performance improvements as part of target operating model design are likely.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To be considered we’re looking for demonstrable evidence of providing Service Management consulting and/or operational services, with well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills covering both technical and business concepts to bring the client on a typical transformation journey.
Of specific interest is expertise in identifying and pursuing opportunities to sell Service Management services (from consulting projects, to resource augmentation, and complex large scale projects) leveraging extensive experience of operating across the Service Management Lifecycle. This should include process implementation and improvement, stakeholder management at all levels, particularly in how to design and develop service management as a strategic asset.
Any ITIL, IT Service delivery, Service Desk, End User Support Services, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Infrastructure Support / Cloud Services, multi-vendor Supplier Management would be highly preferred/advantageous.
