Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Software Developer you’ll initially work on one of our flagship digital Government Programmes based in the heart of Liverpool. You’ll join busy development teams working on building new applications for our client. Initially we’ll be using a mix of waterfall and agile methodologies whilst moving towards a pure Agile development environment. There will be ample opportunities for learning and development in a variety of programming languages relating to our client’s legacy applications as well as the new applications we are developing. You’ll be working in cross functional development teams with plenty of collaboration on offer to help you to develop your skills and career.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You’ll need to bring commercial experience of software and application development, using any flavour of Java, to the table. If you have experience in either Oracle and/or Siebel as well that is a positive advantage. You’ll also need to be across working in both Waterfall and Agile environments and not afraid to learn and develop new skills. We have opportunities at all levels from less experienced juniors through to experienced senior developers. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is innovative, adaptable and flexible in their approach to application development and able to work in cross functional teams.
Please note that due to the nature of the you must either already hold, or be willing and eligible to hold, UK Security Clearance to at least SC level.
