What is PrimeSuite?
PrimeSuite is a comprehensive set of enterprise strength software products designed to manage all aspects of a broker/dealer’s investment fund business. Comprised of five components operating over a common database, they can be implemented individually or in combination:
PrimeOE (order entry) is an investment funds order management system and FundSERV interface, designed to facilitate and process fund orders from distribution channel through to fund company. PrimeOE is designed to be a high-volume, high-speed order placement and routing engine. Orders can be accepted from multiple sources, including web, batch file, proprietary dealer systems or real-time PrimeOE screens, and then routed through the appropriate communication channels.
PrimeAO (automated orders) automates and simplifies the processing of customer standing instructions.
PrimeMessaging manages and forwards non-financial account update instructions.
PrimeRecon automates reconciliation of financial and non-financial information between the dealer’s back office system and all fund companies.
PrimeTPost posts all fund company initiated transactions to the dealer’s back office system.
How does PrimeSuite work?
Integration: Implementing the PrimeSuite solution does not require a complete overhaul of existing enterprise components. PrimeSuite uses a comprehensive set of APIs to allow it to connect to any client recordkeeping system, and all enterprise order entry points in real time or FundSERV batch. PrimeSuite integrates with existing business solutions, extending and enhancing fund processing capabilities without the need to replace existing systems.
Accuracy: PrimeSuite clients have reported a significant increase in the accuracy of their investment fund settlements along with less manual intervention, lower costs and improved investor satisfaction.
High volume throughput: The PrimeSuite architecture will allow for unlimited order history without affecting throughput or performance. The PrimeOE system is the highest throughput order entry engine available, and has been benchmarked in a live application setting at over 70,000 orders/hour.
Customization / Multi-dealer: A comprehensive set of custom exit points throughout the PrimeSuite group of products allows the solutions to be tailored to meet the specific needs of your dealer business. PrimeSuite is also suited to a multi-dealer environment, offering extensive control of user access to data in order to restrict access from business line to business line or dealer to dealer.
