  • Spend analysis. Through a 4-8 week process, our proven PRISM® solution produces a consolidated picture of all expenditures across an organization. Armed with this knowledge, companies have a better understanding of where money is being spent, and can determine how to achieve the most cost savings and focus contract compliance efforts.

  • Opportunity assessment. Our team analyzes contracts and usage for key areas of spending and then identifies savings opportunities and develops a strategic sourcing plan, including the identification of pilot categories that achieve quick-hit savings to fund longer-term initiatives. As a result, clients gain valuable information of their sourcing opportunities without investing significant amounts of time, resources and money.

  • Strategic sourcing. CGI applies strategic sourcing techniques (RFPs, eRFX and reverse auctions) to extract savings and improve contracts in any expenditure category, including unique, complex and strategically sensitive areas. This includes not only competitive pricing but also improved contract terms and processes. Our team has proven success in almost 200 different categories of goods and services, delivering $2 billion in annual, recurring savings with an average savings rate of 17% across all categories.

  • Organization and process review. A suboptimal procurement process increases overhead and expenses, affecting total operating costs. Through a procurement review, CGI provides recommendations on processes, staffing, tools, vendor management and overall strategy.

  • Compliance and savings monitoring (CSM). CSM establishes a valuable reporting tool that allows managers to monitor spending and savings through new contracts along several key dimensions. This data-driven insight pinpoints exactly where to focus, which departments are failing to use new contracts, and where additional savings can be found.

  • A/P audit recovery. CGI works with clients to identify erroneous payments through a systematic analysis of accounts payable transactions and through the implementation of a formal collections program to recoup these funds.
