Quality assurance plan

CGI Federal's quality assurance approach is embodied in CGI's standardized process and product quality assurance (PPQA) process, and supports ISO 9001:2000 certification and appraisal at CMMI Level 3. CGI's Quality Assurance Process involves the following specific tasks:

CGI QA Tasks
Define quality project objectives and surveillance mechanisms
Plan and execute verification and validation activities
Objectively evaluate the project against CGI's PPQA process
Conduct process and product quality reviews
Conduct process and product quality audits
Communicate and report on performance
Review PPQA activities and results with client senior management and stakeholders
Monitor and control execution of quality control processes
Collect improvement information

CGI's internal Quality Audit Group (QAG) also develops and maintains a quality schedule to follow the life of each project. The QAG produces a quarterly Schedule of Activities to document and review measurement activities. The schedule is used to communicate upcoming reviews and audits with the CGI project team and client management. The QAG reviews, measures, and evaluates the services, deliverables, and work products provided to clients that are outlined in the applicable Project Plan.

An additional component of CGI's quality system is our Client Satisfaction Assessment Program (CSAP). The CSAP is a measure of client satisfaction for the quality of services provided by CGI. It fosters partnership, communication, and continual quality improvement.
