CGI's federal identity management and biometrics qualifications

For more than a decade, CGI has fielded, operated and supported more than 5,000 biometrics identity systems, processing more than 500,000 annual enrollments in harsh, remote environments around the world. In addition, CGI was the lead innovator for developing tactical biometric systems for the U.S. government with capabilities spanning multi-modal biometrics systems including on-board finger, face and iris matching.

We have delivered business process services supporting the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs passport production facilities since 1992. Our services span secure, repeatable processing of sensitive passport applications and support for passport adjudication by authorized government officials. The result is the creation of trusted identifying credentials servicing more than 300 million U.S. citizens.

CGI also provides business process support services to assist the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs with the processing of non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications, including providing information to applicants about the visa application process as well as fee collection, appointment services, and document delivery at U.S. embassies in 25 countries across four regions: Asia; Russia and its Southern Neighbors; West Africa; and Central America.
