CGI’s energy management solution provides clients with the intelligence necessary to make effective decisions on energy and other utility reductions.

In partnership with Vertelis, an innovative software provider based in Paris, CGI offers an energy monitoring and analysis tool known as EnergyIT. CGI follows a fast-track three-step implementation process that can result in a fully functional EnergyIT solution across multiple facilities in as little as five weeks. The process includes:

  • Automated, real-time data analysis - automatically pulls real-time data into the system from meters and sensors into the energy consumption dashboard
  • Real-time data cross-referenced with process data - provides advanced analysis from multiple data sources, including building or plant site equipment, process activities and other external environmental measurements
  • Infrastructure control based on green intelligence - learns to identify patterns and outliers by cross referencing real-time and process data and adjusting processes and systems accordingly

EnergyIT may be implemented in various types of facilities, such as office buildings, distribution centers, airports and water treatment facilities, and in manufacturing plants, where it provides an analysis of the operational conditions to optimize equipment run times and more.
