The benchmark project approach is successful because it leverages the implementation strengths, business knowledge, and unique experience that CGI resources have and matches that with the subject matter expertise that carrier resources have.  The average CGI implementation resource has a combined average of 18 years insurance / insurance software expertise.  This expertise spans all project roles and responsibilities including Project Management, Database Architects, Business Analysts, Technical Architects, and Testers.

In addition to the deep project experience that the CGI resources have, CGI also employs a very rigorous project methodology approach designed to ensure that projects finish on-time and on-budget. The project delivery approach that CGI takes is ISO 9001 and CMMi Level 5 certified, meaning that there’s a tremendous amount of structure and rigor that goes into managing our projects.

CGI’s Client Partnership Management Framework (CPMF) covers the business management processes involved in every type of client engagement. It provides guidelines for executing each stage of any engagement—from opportunity development to contract negotiation to delivery. The Client Satisfaction Assessment Program (CSAP) measures clients' satisfaction toward the services provided by CGI and to identify areas of improvements.  Ratabase projects have maintained a 9+ score average on a 1-10 scale for more than the last ten years.
