E-commerce report for Poland's mobile telco operators

Internet usage in Poland is growing rapidly. Businesses have extended their Internet usage to areas that many analysts would not have predicted a few years ago. The move toward digitization and initiatives to provide broadband connection in eastern Poland will surely increase Internet penetration.

Some, however, continue to view the Internet as a fascination and interest for younger generations that has no real business value. Unlike many other technologies throughout IT history that did not fully mature before they faded away, the Internet is here to stay. And it's not just supporting business; it has become a vital part of business and, in many cases, the business itself.

CGI analyzed Poland's mobile telco operator's websites to understand where they are with adoption of today's web trends and solutions. The report compares operators and outlines strengths and weaknesses of their e-commerce and e-care solutions. It concludes with recommendations in building an online adoption roadmap for the upcoming years, as the Internet becomes the place for competitive differentiation.
