City of New York – Our work for the City
Foundation for rapid results
CGI has helped numerous City agencies improve operational efficiency and citizen service. Through this work, we have built a strong foundation of business and technology assets and expertise that can be leveraged to accelerate the City's drive to efficiency.
We participate in the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications Master Services Agreement to provide process improvements, system and database development and other IT services to improve efficiency for a variety of agencies. For example, we worked with City Hall and various agencies to define requirements that helped lay the foundation for what is now known as Health and Human Services-Connect.
We have also directly supported:
- The Financial Information Services Agency with its establishment as a shared service organization, developing the citywide Financial Management System working with every City agency to get them setup, as well as the payroll management, fiscal mechanization systems and Payee Information Portal.
- The Department of Finance with solutions for processing and collecting parking tickets, red light camera and bus lane enforcement, professional audits and amnesty programs.
- The Human Resources Administration with systems and processes for child support, case management payment and claiming and paperless office as well as their Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- The Department of Buildings with numerous strategic initiatives such as zoning compliance program and project management for the Buildings Field Inspection Reporting and Scheduled Technologies Project.
