CGI Advantage 3.10: Increases efficiency, effectiveness and usability

This commitment to helping our state and local government clients make improvements to their business operations through new features and functionality, is the reason CGI is pleased to introduce CGI Advantage 3.10, the latest release of our CGI Advantage ERP solution. The release:

CGI Advantage Release 3.10 at a glance

The following outlines just a few of the exciting features included in release 3.10:

• Debt Management. Provides an integrated and robust approach to managing bonds, loans and leases while automating accounting entries such as accruals and amortizations, generating bond payments, establishing loan repayment schedules and managing both capital and operating leases.
• Enhanced Employee Self Service (ESS). Transforms the look and feel of Employee Self Service (ESS) requiring fewer clicks for employees to access basic information and perform fundamental tasks. Enhances all components, including documents, inquiries, and wizards for a more user-friendly configurable experience designed to improve an employee's ability to efficiently navigate throughout the application.
• Performance Budgeting Transformation. Provides advanced modeling capability to dynamically create and apply models to data within a budget request. Significantly enhances the look and feel of the FSQ module and Budget Requests to simplify and improve data entry and collection.
• Transparency Portal & Business Intelligence Enhancements. Provides a citizen-facing transparency portal based on US Public Interest Research Group (US PIRG) requirements. Includes enhanced business intelligence capabilities such as advanced search capabilities, embedded dashboards and universe usability enhancements for better tracking, analysis, reporting and decision making.
• Mobility. Formally certifies CGI Advantage on iPad, increasing accessibility while staying in front of the latest technology trends in the market. Provides Manager Self Service (MSS) Time and Labor Approval mobile application for iPhone and Android, to allow for quick access and timely approvals of employee timesheets, leave requests and overtime requests anywhere at any time.
• Enhanced Integration. Advantage Business Integration provides a robust unified integration framework to exchange data between external applications and CGI Advantage. The solution was enhanced with an Integration Manager web portal that provides features to efficiently and effectively setup, manage and troubleshoot integrations.
• CGI Advantage Case Management. Automates and transforms processes for creating and managing cases to improve efficiency, flexibility and customer service. Integrated with CGI Advantage ERP, provides workflow automation, document management, collaboration, and risk and performance reporting capabilities bundled together in a business administration engine.
• CGI Advantage Permitting. Consolidates and automates the full permitting and licensing process across the enterprise. Integrated with CGI Advantage ERP, CGI Advantage Permitting streamlines the fee and billing process while providing a method to further ensure compliance.
