JAME COFRAN - Senior Vice-President, Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer, Jame Cofran leads the evolution of CGI marketing and sales strategy to maximize opportunities for strategic and sustained growth on a global scale.  He has over 30 years of experience in technology and business consulting in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Mr. Cofran is a leading inventor at CGI with multiple patents and patent applications pending in the areas of credit and risk management.

Mr. Cofran has innovated and implemented best practices in customer and credit management for many of the largest companies in the finance, telecommunications, energy, and healthcare markets worldwide. Most recently, Mr. Cofran led the Global Banking and Financial Markets Group, supporting CGI regional business units around the world to improve their clients’ banking operations.

While at AMS (acquired by CGI in 2004), Mr. Cofran led the expansion of the Financial Solutions group into Latin America and Europe, starting up AMS Management Systems U.K. Ltd. in 1990 and adding over 20 new clients before returning to the U.S. in 1994. He also founded and was CEO of InsideOut Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of AMS that built and operated an electronic credit services network for credit grantors.

Mr. Cofran is frequent speaker at financial services conferences and has published numerous articles. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Kansas.  He is active in his home community of Annapolis, Maryland where he is involved in the protection and preservation of wetlands and the Chesapeake Bay.
