Meet the members of CGI's management

JAME COFRAN - Senior Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer

Jame Cofran was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of CGI in May 2012. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Global Marketing Lead for the Financial Services industry for CGI since 2009.

Mr. Cofran leads the evolution of CGI’s marketing and sales strategy to maximize opportunities for strategic and sustained profitable revenue growth. He has over 30 years of experience in business and technology consulting around the world and across multiple industries.

Prior to joining CGI, Mr. Cofran held various management and consulting positions at American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS), which was acquired by CGI in 2004. He founded and was President and CEO of InsideOut Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AMS that designed, built and operated digital financial shared services networks in North America.

Mr. Cofran holds multiple patents for innovating new business processes and systems and has published numerous articles on business trends and their IT and business implications.

Mr. Cofran holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Kansas. He is active in his home community of Annapolis, Maryland, where he is an avid sailor and is involved in the protection and preservation of wetlands and the Chesapeake Bay.
