Gregg Mossburg

GREGG MOSSBURG - Senior Vice-President, U.S. Northeast

Gregg Mossburg leads CGI’s Northeast Business Unit which serves commercial and government clients in strategic markets such as banking, healthcare, state & local government, and insurance. With nearly 500 members, the BU delivers a range of solutions and services across eight states: New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Vermont, and Rhode Island.

Gregg Mossburg was appointed Business Unit (BU) Manager for CGI’s Northeast operations in 2012. He is a member of the U.S. Enterprise Markets (USEM) BU Group and U.S. Executive Management Committees as well as the U.S. Strategic Growth Council which drives the growth of the U.S. business.

Mr. Mossburg has a 20-year track record in developing and leading high-performing teams to deliver results in Client Delivery, Leveraged Delivery Operations, Business Development, Solution & Offering Development, and Financial Engineering. Prior to his current appointment, he led CGI Federal’s Business Engineering organization, focusing on solutions and go-to-market support for the $1 billion-plus defense, intelligence, and civilian agency markets. This included initiatives in Business Engineering, IT Infrastructure & Cloud Computing; GWACs; Partnerships; Sales Operations; Pricing; Mergers & Acquisitions; Thought Leadership; Marketing & Communications; and Government Relations. He was instrumental in driving the evolution and delivery of managed services, on-shore application development & maintenance, and financial management system solutions. He also helped position CGI as a market leader in cloud by leading the solution development and go-to-market strategy of the company’s offerings for government clients.

Previously, Mr. Mossburg served as CGI’s Vice President of Managed Services where he was responsible for growing the company’s ability to capture and deliver large outsourcing deals. Under his leadership, CGI was awarded several large managed services contracts valued in excess of $250 million. Prior to CGI, he served in lead roles at American Management Systems (which was acquired by CGI in 2004) for the implementation and delivery of enterprise solutions for commercial and government clients such as Bell South, the Canadian government, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Mr. Mossburg served as a Commissioner on the TechAmerica Foundation’s 2011 Commission on the Leadership Opportunity in U.S. Deployment of the Cloud (CLOUD2) and is currently a Board Member for the National Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Ball. Named one of ExecutiveBiz’s “Top 10 Business Development Executives to Watch,” he is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and in the media on the topics of cloud, outsourcing, and business development.

Mr. Mossburg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems and Marketing from James Madison University.
