Meet the members of CGI's management

EVA MAGLIS - Executive Vice-President, Global Chief Information Officer

Eva Maglis is currently Global CIO at CGI. She joined the company in 1998 as part of the Bell Sygma acquisition. Her career spans more than 25 years in the IT industry.

Eva began her career at Bell Canada and has since held senior IT leadership positions in the areas of system development and integration, consulting as well as infrastructure management. She has worked within large Canadian corporations including, BCE, Bell Sygma, and CGI and has managed large transformation projects with international scope.

In the last 4 years, Eva brought together CGI’s Global Infrastructure Services (GIS), including the data centers and professionals in Canada, the US, Europe and India. The resulting new Infrastructure organizations within CGI have been able to implement standards, develop and share new solutions around Cloud computing, deliver more consistent quality of services to CGI clients as well as progressively reduce costs. 

In her new role as Global CIO, Eva is expected to lead the Logica integration once the transaction is completed, and work through a network of senior Integration leaders in multiple geographies. Eva reports to Michael E. Roach, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Eva holds an Executive MBA from New York’s Columbia University. She currently lives in Montréal, Québec, with her husband and daughter. She is an active member of the Board of the Fondation du Centre jeunesse de Montréal, an organization whose mission it is to care for underprivileged children.  She speaks English, French, Greek, Italian and Spanish and enjoys flamenco, yoga, tennis and a variety of other sports.
