
CGI UPGRADES PRISM® AUDIT SOFTWARE
New Version Offers Searchable Reports, Faster Processing Time
CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), a leader in information technology and
business process services, today released version 5.0 of PRISM® Audit software,
a spend management analysis solution enabling corporations and governments to
view expense patterns organization-wide and identify potential cost savings.
As a key element of CGI’s flagship Procurement Management System, PRISM
Audit 5.0 was built using scalable technology and Web-based architecture. The
new version introduces several new features, including:
- Automated Categorization that decreases processing time by more fully and intelligently leveraging CGI’s historical categorization experience acquired from servicing hundreds of clients across a variety of industries and sectors;
- Multidimensional, searchable reports that offer a more flexible user interface and increased reporting functionality to enhance assessments of organization-wide spending and potential savings opportunities from sourcing activities; and.
- Advanced Categorization Taxonomy Support to better manage and customize CGI’s proprietary purchase categorization taxonomy for each client. It also reflects the latest version of the United Nations Standard Products and Services Classification.
