Across all industry sectors, we deliver BPS enterprise services to support our clients’ non-core enterprise processes, such as HR and payroll, finance and accounting, procurement, and project support and staffing. We process transactions, operate contact centers, manage suppliers and contracts, manage your enterprise data, as well as provide auditing and reporting.

CGI’s IP-based business platforms support these non-core business processes in different industries. In addition, we provide a high level of automation and industry knowledge. We deliver value to our clients through our enterprise services by reducing operational costs and improving end-user satisfaction.

HR and payroll enterprise services

CGI’s market-leading HR enterprise service is designed for clients in all industries with more than 10,000 employees and is based on Oracle and Advantage technologies. These solutions enable HR directors and their teams to deliver in line with critical enterprise objectives, such as increasing organizational agility and managing people development, at reduced cost.

We provide the full range of HR processes, including onboarding, payroll, employee records, absences, and performance and talent management, with a blend of self-service and contact center support. We also deliver e-learning, providing, for example, more than 275,000 hours of e-learning to the U.K. Ministry of Defence.

CGI delivers payroll services in four key markets, including Canada, France, Sweden and the U.K., and partners with select providers elsewhere. Our offering in each country includes core payroll services and extends across multiple processes within the HR domain. In all countries, we serve both the government and commercial sectors. Examples of our work include the following:

  • In Canada, we process CAD $22 billion in pay slips annually for more than 1 million employees. We offer our services in partnership with two major financial institutions.
  • In France, we process €7 billion in pay slips for 300,000 employees.
  • In Sweden, we process 350 billion SEK in pay slips for 1 million employees, including 88% of the central government market and a large share of local government. We also provide pension administration applications and services.
  • In the U.K., we process £28 billion in pay slips annually for more than 1.5 million employees, including 50% of all central government employees.

Finance, accounting and procurement enterprise services

Across all industry sectors, we provide a full range of finance and accounting (F&A) services. Examples of our expertise and work follow.

  • We provide a full accounting service on our own platform to the oil and gas industry, which includes complex revenue and cost allocation for production activities across multiple stakeholders. We also provide a revenue allocation and property management service to trust companies that provide wealth management services to landowners. This includes the management of complex lease documentation.
  • We provide full scope F&A services to a multinational postal services company.
  • In the government sector, our e-procurement services with the State of Virginia enable effective end-to-end workflow between agencies and suppliers, significantly opening up competition and delivering annual savings of more than $40 million.

Other enterprise services

  • We support the U.S. Department of Justice, running its business processes efficiently with a dedicated, flexible team of around 400 staff, who provide varying levels of support from general to management and finance, all with the appropriate security clearings.
  • We have more than 250 F&A staff in our best-in-class service center in the Netherlands and India, and a team of 200 staff in the Philippines providing core program office services, such as finance, scheduling, quality, reporting, to clients in more than 20 countries.
  • Our multi-function contact centers, accessible by phone and through portals, facilitate a structured approach to handling complex inquiries across finance, HR, procurement, IT and facilities for our clients’ employees worldwide. For Statoil, Norway’s largest company, we handle 840,000 inquiries annually (45% by portal) for 30,000 staff in 40 countries. These inquiries are handled from three sites (Norway, UK and Philippines) that have achieved industry-leading performance.
