Grant Lifecycle Management (GLM) was introduced in Release 3.8 with an emphasis on tracking grants as the grantee. GLM is already fully integrated with the Cost Accounting module, allowing for grants received from federal or other sources to be tracked from the time of application through post-award and billing. As more governments now deal with grants awarded to service providers, they need the ability to track those grants and the use of granted money as the “grantor.” This session explores possibilities for a complete grants management solution that incorporates both grantee and grantor functionality.

This module offers the ability to automate many of the CAFR statements and allows for the elimination of many of the external spreadsheets and systems that are used in statement preparation. The emphasis is on CAFR planning becoming an integral part of year-end planning—facilitating a more streamlined end-to-end process.
