Janet Marchibroda, MBA leads the eHealth Initiative and its Foundation as Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Marchibroda also serves as the Executive Director of Connecting for Health, a public-private sector initiative funded and led by the Markle Foundation and supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation which is designed to catalyze actions on a national basis to create an interconnected, electronic health information infrastructure.

Both organizations are Washington, D.C.-based independent, national non-profit organizations whose missions are to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare through information and information technology.

Liesa Jenkins
CareSpark Executive Director

Liesa Jenkins is currently serving as Executive Director of CareSpark, a regional health information organization in the 17-county Appalachian area of Tri-Cities TN / VA. She is well-known throughout her region for her skills as a facilitator, resource developer and project manager, having served her community in the areas of education and literacy, neighborhood revitalization, civic leadership, cultural arts and recreation, environmental and health issues, diversity and economic development.

CareSpark was established in 2005, following two years of research and planning to explore ways to share health information securely, efficiently and cost-effectively. CareSpark was initiated by volunteers with the Community Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP), who had been working together for more than a decade through the local non-profit citizen organization Kingsport Tomorrow to develop collaborative processes to improve the health in the community.

Chris Voigt
CGI Executive Consultant on RHIOs

Chris Voigt is an Executive Consultant with CGI's Healthcare Solutions Group where he conducts strategic and marketing analysis for the Sovera line of healthcare provider products. Previously Mr. Voigt was with the MITRE Corporation as a Project Lead for projects at the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). He led teams working for HHS' Chief Enterprise Architect and for the Federal Health Architecture Program.

CGI is part of one of three teams awarded United States Government Grants to create a prototype for the National Health Information Network which one day will be able to share information across the US on things like Emergency Readiness, Emergency Responsiveness or Outbreak Surveillance for the benefit of Public Health.
Regional health information organizations working with CGI in the program are the Eastern Kentucky Regional Health Community, CareSpark in Tennessee and the West Virginia E-Health Initiative.
